Established in February 2016, the Real Estate Training Institute (RETI) is the training arm of the Real Estate Board. Over the past 8 years, the RETI has consistently offered the Pre-Licensing Course for Salesmen and Pre-Licensing Course for Dealers. It also offers a cadre of continuous professional development courses for real estate salesmen and dealers, and individuals who have a general interest in real estate but are not licensees of the Real Estate Board.

The RETI is currently on a trajectory of transition and effecting change in the Jamaican real estate market. To this end, the RETI will in the future incorporate new and dynamic teaching and learning styles, technology and course modalities to educate current real estate professionals, those interested in becoming licensees of the Board and the members of the public.
