Our preferred methods of payment are: via the Client Portal, Online Bill Payment and In-Office using Credit/Debit cards or Manager’s Cheques. Guiding instructions are available below.
We strongly discourage the use of in-branch (bank) payments or online third party transfers as these can be hard to track and verify. These methods would require additional information on the part of the client (which must be included as a part of the payment process), and can result in unnecessary delays in the processing of your payment.
Payment Options
Option 1: Client Portal (Dealers and Salesmen)
This may be found at: https://clientportal.reb.gov.jm/. The Client Portal allows dealers and salesmen to make online payments using any Visa or MasterCard. When using the Client Portal, please note the following:
- You must first create an account, which will be verified via email.
- You can make multiple payments; including payments for other persons, in a single check-out transaction.
- You will need you licence number.
- You will receive an email confirming successful processing of your transaction.
Option 2: Bill Payment
Online via Scotiabank or National Commercial Bank (NCB) Bill Payment platforms. This is done by selecting and adding the Real Estate Board as a payee to on the respective platforms.
- The payee name for Scotiabank is THE REAL ESTATE BD
- The payee name for NCB is REAL ESTATE BOARD RENK
- The payee name for the Commission of Strata Corporations on both platforms is Real Estate Bd/Csc.
A payor/client account number is also required for both sites. This is an eight-digit alphanumeric number which comprises the practitioner’s abbreviated category (Salesmen – SL, Dealers – DL, Developers – DV) and their four-digit registration number (zeros will need to be added at the beginning of the registration number to meet the eight-digit character requirement).
Examples of the account numbers for the respective categories are :
- For salesmen – SL00XXXX
- For dealers – DL00XXXX
- For developers – DV00XXXX
Option 3: In-Office Payments
Clients may visit our main office at 24 Trafalgar Road, Kingston 10. Payment may be made using any Visa or MasterCard Debit/Credit Card or Manager’s Cheque (only).
